Who We Are
Founded in 2024, Orient & Magga is the vision of an Asian woman who has worked in the medical field and lives with ankylosing spondylitis. Facing personal challenges, she found strength and peace through Eastern Buddhist practices, which helped her navigate the struggles of both the pandemic and her autoimmune condition. Inspired by this journey, she aims to share the serene and empowering energy of Eastern spirituality with those facing their own challenges.

Why We Started
Two years ago, after a difficult period of illness and a struggling business, she visited the ancient Hanshan Temple. The sound of the great temple bell filled her with renewed energy, and nearby she saw an 18-seed Bodhi bracelet that had absorbed the bell's sacred vibrations daily. She brought it home and wore it as a reminder of strength, peace, and good fortune. This bracelet encouraged her to find stillness, rebuild her resilience, and face life with calm courage. This moment marked the beginning of Orient & Magga.

How We Do It
We journey to temples across China, each known for its unique blessings—health, peace, wealth, or love. With deep respect for these traditions, we select blessed bracelets and carefully share their stories. This shop was founded to pass on the peaceful strength and protective energy of these sacred items to anyone in need. Guided by the wisdom of the Serenity Prayer, we believe in changing what we can, accepting what we cannot, and seeking the wisdom to discern the difference.
